Answer:	Yes. They sell it separately on the angel care website. But if it is less than a year old, it might be under warranty so if you have proof of purchase, email them to initiate a warranty replacement. I had my new parent monitor in about 10 days.
Question:	Can the sensory pad be used under a regular bed or just a crib
Answer:	It can be used under a regular bed but as soon as your baby starts rolling off the pad, you can't really use it anymore as the alarm keeps going off

Answer:	Not 100% but I think it's the exact same thing. I believe they had to change the name to hero so I guess the halo is the "older" model.

Answer:	Ours came with a dud battery. We purchased a duracel battery works just fine. Though the product description says not to use a cr4 battery.
Question:	Is this product reliable and comfortable for tummy sleepers? My baby is six months old and has started rolling onto her tummy and face planting
Answer:	Yes. My twins have slept on their tummies and the sensor never left contact with their skin. You don't have to worry about it coming off and you not knowing, because if it loses contact with their stomach the alarm will sound. That only happened once to us while one of my babies was on his side. I highly recommend these monitors. I've been using over a month now for my preemie twins and have not had one problem!
Question:	Does this work for a stomach sleeping baby
Answer:	Yes, my son sleeps on his stomach part of the time and it worked fine for him. I put it more to the one side that her tended not to favor when sleeping. The only issue I had with tummy sleeping is if they are laying on it and the alarm goes off, it isn't nearly as loud, so if you are a very sound sleeper, it might not wake you!

Answer:	My baby flops back and forth from her back to belly. It works fine clipped to the front of her diaper, right over where the Velcro tabs meet (I fold them over which helps it stay on).

Answer:	I put it on the back side of my sons diaper once when he fell asleep on his tummy and it worked just fine. He doesn’t turn much when he sleeps yet so I usually put it on his belly but this 1 time it worked when I placed it on the back.

Answer:	I read in a review that this left a blister on a baby and it made me paranoid so I dress my baby in a onesie and pants, clip this to his pants and it works just fine.

Question:	Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity? First night using it I got 2 false alarms so I want to increase the sensitivity
Answer:	Agree that you can't change the sensitivity on the newer ones. We ended up returning it due to do many false alarms. Even when she was centered in the crib and awake and kicking it would go off. We tried another unit and same problem. We tried all the recommendations from the company and nothing ever worked. My only guess is that it was our mattress (though the company said it shouldn't have been). We have a reversible foam mattress. The company's customer service was very responsive and tried hard to fix our problem, though.
Question:	Will it work with the halo bassinet ? Will I need the wood pannels to support the sensors? Thanks
Answer:	It should work. As with any movement monitor, it is important to make sure the base of the bassinet is hard to ensure a proper contact between the sensor and the mattress. If the base is soft, indeed you would need to add an extra plywood. Also, it is important not to use any vibration during the use of a movement monitor and to ensure the bassinet is not touching parents' bed. Hope this is helpful. Question:	We have a crib with the metal wire bottom, do we need to put something down to make it a flat surface or can the sensors be placed on that alone
Answer:	We have the same style metal mesh and the sensors kept going off (false alarm). We contacted Hisense and they told use to cut a peice of plywood the same size as the mattress and place that on the springs then the sensors. Also we discovered that something as simple as a ceiling fan beating air on the mattress was making the monitor think our daughter was breathing. We discovered that while testing it without her in the crib. Definitely test everything without the baby in the crib. Hope this helped.

Answer:	I haven't had ANY false alarm. I LOVE this! It was actually used in a research study!! Well worth the money. I LOVE that you can roll over and see it blinking to have peace of mind. As a NICU mom that came home with babies on medical monitors.. I feel this is just as good. Be careful of the sensitivity though. It can pick up fans and if the bassinet is close to your bed it can pick up your movements. So be sure to test it without the baby in while the fan is going and other regular movements around it. :-).

Question:	If i have twins, is the app capable of sinking to and monitoring two devices simultaneously? Like will I get alerts on both babies
Answer:	Hello, First let me thank you for your interest in Angelcare Monitors. We do not recommend using the monitors in a Pack & Play, co- sleeper or in a bassinette. You can still use it however you should test the monitor frequently to make sure it isn't picking up outside vibrations. The monitor must be installed in a sturdy bed with a firm bottom that will not move in order for it to function properly. You can still use it, however you should test the monitor frequently to make sure it alarms when no movement is being detected. Thank you
Question:	Should the back of device be touching their skin directly or can it be on their swaddle? Received false alarm on swaddle in correct position so wonder
Answer:	This is a stand alone movement only monitor, it does not connect to a monitor.
Question:	How will this work if my baby's room is more than 50 feet away from me
Answer:	As long as it is at least 3 ft away from the sensor, it can be anywhere.
Question:	Can I put it on the onesie and then swaddle the baby? Is there a risk of overheat and explosion of the battery
