TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS:

The infrared does not work:

If you have a flashlight or have a flashlight on your cell phone, there is a way to reset the night vision on the camera. Take the camera into a dark room, preferably a bathroom or closet. Close the door to the room, plug the camera in and turn the lights off. Shine the flashlight directly into the camera lens for 30 to 45 seconds. After this time has passed, remove the light from the eye of the camera. Allow the camera a few seconds to readjust and then check the video on the monitor. The night vision issue should be resolved.

Loss of signal:

Use of other 2.4 GHz products, such as wireless networks (Wi-Fi routers), Bluetooth systems, or microwave ovens, may cause interference with this product, so keep the Baby Monitor away at least 3ft from these types of products, or turn them off if they appear to be causing interference.

Answer:	My wife and I have had no issues with cell phones by the monitor. We charge our cell phones right next to the monitor as we sleep with no issues.

Answer:	Hello Anna, No, it won't be compatible with a signal booster. The monitor and camera can reach the range of up to a1000ft when there is a clear line of sight between the units. Any obstruction between parent and baby units will reduce the range significantly. With parent and baby units indoors, the typical range is up to 165 feet. The monitor and camera work together through a radio link and such link might be affected by environmental conditions. Please move the units around the room to try to reestablish the link. Question:	Is the camera wireless? Does it have batteries inside? In other words, can I take the camera outside as well as the monitor
Answer:	The camera has to be plugged in, doesn't have a battery option, it does have a fairly long cord though. The parent unit has a very good range. When testing it out I was able to take it across the street and still had a good signal.
Question:	What newer cameras can be pair with the mbp38s monitor

Question:	Is it easy to take the monitor off and on for travel
Answer:	It’s a wall mount. Camera not included.
Question:	Fyi - this do not come with appropriate screws for the motorola mbp50. there is no way to secure the camera to the stand
Answer:	There is a hole on the top and bottom of both ends of the part where the wall anchors connect. Instead of putting the anchors there, you attach the extension which has short metal dowel rod type things that I sweet into the holes.
