Answer:	I measured the opening that one walks through when the gate swings open, to be approximately 15-3/4". Also, as an FYI, the 'door' of the gate does not swing to a flat position against the gate when open. I love these gates (I have 2). Hope this helps!

Answer:	There are four (4) monitor ports: 2 - HDMI 2 - Display I haven't tried four (4) monitors because I don't have any monitors that use the display port. However, the tech description states that you can connect up to three (3) of these units for a total of six (6) monitors. Based on that information I would say that only two (2) monitors can be supported by each unit. I don't know if it can support the mac mini m1.

Question:	Can I mount this gate in one doorway and still use it as a pressure gate in other doorways
Answer:	Looks like this issue has been addressed in the new design. We bought the gates this week and were able to mount it as is without extensive "handyman" skills. The bottom mount is adjustable in the new design and allows for mounting the gate flush to the wall without the baseboard causing it to cantilever. No cutting notches in the molding or need to place shims at the top
Question:	can it be used outdoors
Answer:	No, there are 4 brackets (top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right) which get mounted first. The brackets have vertical posts which, once installed, the gate slides onto. The top brackets have a latching mechanism that lock the gate into place. To release, simply press down the buttons on the top brackets and slide the gate up and off. The brackets remain screwed into the walls.
Question:	Can you stack two gates on top of each other in a doorway
Answer:	Contrary to what most believe, there is an extension option. Since I found out the 72" was not quite enough to go around my back door that swings outward, instead of returning the Supergate that I bought at a discounted open box item, I did some research and took a chance with the 2 panel extension for the 'Superyard'. I used a phillips screw driver to take out the plastic end pieces of one of the panel from the extension and switched them around to make it connect between the gate panel and the 18" short panel...volla! Works perfectly! I will add a picture of the finish product in my review...when they ask for a review.
Question:	Does this gate have hinge hardware for swinging open
Answer:	I am using it indoors, but based on how it is built I don't see why it could not be installed outdoors. However, I have no idea if the inner components of the gate locking mechanism would rust over time or not if placed outdoors.

Answer:	Hi Shannon, although it is intended for interior doors only, I know there have been lots of customers use it on exterior doors. You may have to install it a little differently than in the pictures. But yes, it is pretty easy to open from the opposite as well. Please let us know I you have any further questions. :)
Question:	Can I use this for bifold closet door
Answer:	Hmm, that is a very interesting use for it. I would say it depends on the type of kennel and if you have a flat surface on both sides in order to place the adhesive on. It is worth a shot. You can always return it to Amazon if it does not work for you. :)
Question:	Could this be used the opposite way to prevent child to close the door
Answer:	I assume you’re wanting to put the hook on the back of the door and attach the other part to the wall so they can’t push it closed? It could work in that sense, but If they’re strong enough it probably wouldn’t work. I’ve had to replace mine because my daughter ‘locked’ her brother in the bathroom (unbeknownst to him) and when he went to open it snapped the hook part of the strap.

Although we have not had any finger pinch injuries using Door Buddy with both of our daughters or cats getting trapped inside or outside the room, we do understand your concern. To help with this, you could use an inexpensive foam finger guard with Door Buddy to keep the door from closing. Answer:	Yes and no. It has mounts that are shaped like a disk with raised edges that screw in. Then the gate has pressure mounts that fit into the disk that are screwed into the wall. The pressure mounts have a nut on it that you turn to tighten. It comes with a wrench you can use, but I used my own. These gates are not going anywhere. A lot of people complain how hard they are to remove them when they are done. When I started reading their complaints, I knew this was the gate. I rather have a gate that is hard to remove, because that equals a kid that is not going to get hurt. Walls can be repaired, my child's life cannot.
Question:	how wide is the actual gate opening
Answer:	For 29.5-32.3" use only the gate. For 32.3-35" use the 2.75" extension on hinge side. For 35-37.8" use the 5.5" extension on hinge side. For 37.8-41" use the 2.75" on latch side and 5.5" on hinge side. For 41-43.3" use the 11" on hinge side. For 43.3-46.1" use 2.75" on latch side and 11" on hinge side. For 46.1-49.4" use 5.5" on latch side and 11" on hinge side. For 49.4-51.6" use 5.5" + 2.75" on latch side and 11" on hinge side. For 51.6-54" use 11" on both sides. From the extension installation guide. I would fit for the narrow width (usually with baseboard).
Question:	Is this gate only pressure mounted? I'm looking for one that is screw mounted
Answer:	It's a pretty heavy gate. I have it installed into a stud. In one case I even nailed a 2x4 to the stud in the wall and then attached the gate to that. I wouldn't attach it directly to drywall (no stud), I can easily see it coming out of the wall.
Question:	The description is confusing. Does the gate with the included 2 3/4" extension go to 35" or is it 35" first and the extension makes it
Answer:	The hinge could be at 90 degrees, but you will need to mount it to a stud with larger screws than they include.

Answer:	I have a 50-lb boxer mix that is quite strong and active. I do have two of these gates to keep her out of certain areas in the house. Both openings are 42-inches wide; the gates are quite sturdy at that extended width. She has not moved the gates since I erected these over a year ago. However, I must say that she seems to understand that the other side of the gate is the "no-dog-zone", because I think she could easily leap over the gate if she wanted to. I have been very please with the quality and appearance of these gates, and with my dog's behavior.
Question:	can this gate get wet on a deck
Answer:	I foster cats and kittens and have used these gates to separate cats and kittens. Up until probably 6 weeks old they won't climb them. After about 6 weeks then yes they can climb them, but if you use more than 1 they can't. I normally have 3 stacked one above the other and angle them progressively in towards the cat or kitten so when the cat or kitten looks up and starts to climb they do not see a top to go over and stop. This will normally prevent most except the most persistent cat from climbing over them.

Question:	The frame is wood, but what is the inside made of
Answer:	Yes, an aggressive chewing puppy will definitely chew through it. Also, the quality is less than impressive. The posts are doweled but not glued and they come out easily leaving the netting out of the channel it is originally set in. I'm less than thrilled with this gate. It was what I was expecting, but not the quality I was expecting. My puppy is a chewer, but very respectful of barriers so he doesn't try to chew the gate.

Answer:	It might work if you put a 2x4 or 4x4 block of wood to mount the two against. I don't think they would hold just mounting them against each other.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The bumpers on the Wire Mesh Gate are not intended to be removed pre-assembled during production. Unfortunately, they are not available as a replacement part.
Question:	what is the gap between where it is mounted and the gate itself? From this photo, it seems to be about a five inch gap? My cat could get through that
Answer:	The middle of the bottom bumper is 4 5/8" from the bottom of the gate and the middle of the top bumper is 27 5/8" from the bottom.
Question:	Do you think this could stop a 15 lb cat that's too fat to jump
Answer:	No. You need to lift up the bar and take gate aside to walk through and then set it up again. It is a draw back, but I still like it because it is simple and easy and reasonably priced. I do, however, admit that I use this gate on openings that I don't go in and out of very often.
