Question:	Can I use this upright in a sliding glass door
Answer:	The extra wide gate would not be able to be attached to the frame of a sliding glass door. It would not be recommended to be used this way.
Question:	Does this gate fold in half if you want to collapse it to a smaller size for storage or do the two halves slide together
Answer:	It doesn't quite fold in half but will slide into itself. I'm able to keep it upright in a closet when not in use.
Question:	Does it swing both directions
Answer:	Well I’m really confused about the fact that it describes it has an “Extra-Wide Swing”. The Gate worked well but it Slides out to expand and back in to contract. (Just like a sliding glass door). The gate does not swing out and in. (Like a door would do when you push it to open and pull it to close). Unless this one comes with that feature but by the illustration it appears to be the exact one we bought. I hope this helps.😊

Answer:	It depends on how determined they are to get over the gate. We have two Cavalier spaniels the largest 24 pounds and a yellow lab who is 65 pounds and none of them even try to jump over it. I can easily step over the gate which is nice. We are using it in our basement to keep the dogs out of the laundry room. You can pick it up easily and the sides will fold in if you want to move it out of the way. We really like them and bought 2 of them. The color is much lighter than pictured though. It is very nicely made and sturdy.

Question:	How wide are the rubber bumpers? I need them to fit on a narrow area (sliding door
Answer:	Be VERY cautious if you are buying this for a large opening. Yes it does extend to 70-71 inches (not 72)... however, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: you need to twist the knob on the left side of the screen before it retracts, and at the same time use your right hand to unhook the screen on the right side. This is a safety feature to make it hard for little kids to retract the screen, it makes it nearly impossible to use for a very large opening, unless you have like a 7-foot wing span and can reach both end of the screen at once. I'm going to contact amazon for a refund because this is not mentioned in the listing info. While it does technically extend to close to six feet, it is not practical at all to use for a six foot opening. (and unfortunately I didn't find this out until it was mounted and I drilled 8 holes in my wall.)

Answer:	We purchased the 130' hose. There is one spot in the hose that occasionally kinks when we are winding it onto the hose reel. Other than that, we have had no problems compared to other hoses we have had.

Answer:	It will probably come kinked (from the strapping used in the packaging). You can send it back. I sent my first one back, and my replacement was just as kinked when it arrived.

Answer:	I don’t think so. On each end you have the connections that screw into the wall, top and bottom. Gates pretty heavy.

Answer:	The gate slats are small enough, but you may have issues with the opening between the gate and the wall depending on how far you have to extend the end pins. The hardware isn't very baseboard friendly.

Question:	Once the hardware is mounted to the walls, how hard is it to remove the panels? We need a fence that can be up and down at various times
Answer:	Not very easy if you want to remove it completely because it's screwed into the walls (my setup). Continuously unscrewing and screwing it back in will lead to the holes wallowing out. You do have the option of removing everything but the two panels attached to the wall. The mechanism(s) on the panels that allow them to pivot can be completely removed allowing you to remove the gate portion. It's not ideal but it's probably better than ruining your walls by screwing and unscrewing the brackets. Depending on what you are mounting the gate to, you could probably put some permanent mounts in place in place allowing for easy removal on a regular basis.
Question:	Can the door on the gate be installed on either end or must it only be in the middle
Answer:	No the door is in the middle.

Answer:	Yes, you just have to make sure that the additional pieces you buy are the same height as the initial gate you buy. There are 2 different heights available on Amazon, and if you're not looking specifically for the height, you'll end up with an extra set of useless pieces like we did.

Question:	what is the spacing between slats
Answer:	Yes. I use my gate in a closet opening under my stairs. I utilize the space as a doggie den. The gate is perfect. Very easy to install. Is well made. Would definitely order again. Good luck.

Answer:	I wouldn't trust it at the top of the stairs without screws but for doorways and the bottom of stairs it would be fine.
Question:	Will this gate mount to a corner? Our opening is flanked by two corners and we need to mount a gate there
Answer:	The space where o have mine is sort of uneven as well just because the bottom sits in about a quarter inch farther in than the top of it. So we had to adjust all 4 adjustable screws (I'm not really sure what they're called individually to get this to close properly and even then it still had a small gap right where it closes but it was still fully functional and never opened on it's own

Answer:	The opening is 17 inches. I have had plumbers, electricians and carpenters at my house and they had no problem getting in or out of the gates. They couldn't believe how great the gates work.

Answer:	I just measured, and the gate, with the long extension is 32.25" wide. That leaves plenty of room for the adjusters. OK, so everyone can do the math:The 3 sections are 26" (Gate), 4.25" and 6.25" (Extensions), and the adjusters need 1.125" each (2.25 total) as a minimum. The adjusters are about 5" long. (I ain't taking that dang thing apart to see exactly how long. LOL) Gate only - 27.25" to 36" (I would recommend 27.25 to about 33". The adjusters get kinda wobbly as they get longer.) Gate and Short Extension - 32.5" to 40" (37" recommended Max)Gate and Long Extension - 34.5" to 42" (39" Recommended Max)Gate and Both Extensions - 38.5" to 46" (44" Recommended Max)The recommended Maximums shown here are my own best guestimates and are not to be taken as a limit, and are, in no way, sanctioned by the manufacturer. Question:	When open is there a bar on the floor which I could trip on if not paying attention
Answer:	There's no bar at the bottom after hanging it up or when you open it up, it swings open just like a door so you have the whole doorframe to pass through. This was why I bought this gate, all the others had the bar at the bottom and the open part was to narrow when passing through with dogs trying to get through or carrying groceries in.

Answer:	I believe it is painted metal. The wall mounts are plastic with metal screws. The description states it is for inside use. I have mine inside.
