Answer:	It has some stretch, not sure it would fit over a shower head unless it is quite small.

Answer:	No but you can order one like I did through Amazon or you can make a ball out of aluminum foil and stick the probe through the center and that works. Just make sure the probe isn't touching the grates or anything else.

Question:	How long are the straps
Answer:	The only solution I could suggest would be to screw the the adjustment knob as tight as you can get it. Otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do. We bought some bumpers to protect the walls. I don’t know if those would help with the dogs or not They have rubber grips so they might help.
Question:	Once tightened, can these straps be loosened and tightened again
Answer:	It’s about 20 inches. I bought this gate for my golden retriever puppy. The opening seems plenty wide for me. I placed the gate about 6 inches off the floor so my roomba can pass underneath.
Question:	How many lbs of load can this hold
Answer:	Tighten the top of the gate until it latches using the round parts that adjust the screws into the walls.

How to install:

Step 1: Measure the distance between the holes on the bracket and then mark the corresponding drilling points on the wall using a pen

Step 2: Drill two holes which are approximately 1.2 inches deep for fixing the bracket

Step 3: Hammer expansion nails supplied into each of the holes which have been drilled

Step 4: Using the long screws which have been provided, fix the bracket on the wall at the location which is selected

Step 5: Similarly using the short screws which are supplied, the other bracket should be fixed on the furniture, usually on the rear side

Step 6: The zip tie supplied is then used to bind the brackets on the wall and the furniture together
