Answer:	If you can put them tight enough, the doors hardly open at all, at least in my house they did not.

Answer:	Honestly, I don't know. I'm sorry. It's got a pretty good range of length. Which is why it was ideal for those cabinets. Just be aware that with the length comes also the opportunity to not fasten them right enough. We did that a couple times and baby was able to get her hands into the door and pull some thin bottles out.
Question:	My cabinet pulls are far apart. How far do these extend
Answer:	I checked mine and to get a good connection they would be a maximum of 5 inches apart. That would put the slide at the farthest possible clipping point.

Answer:	I had standard laminate doors installed and they were a bit hit and miss if they worked. I had even more issues with solid wood doors.
Question:	The lock will not stay attached to my cabinets . I have tried replacing the tape with a double sided and it's not working. Idea on the tape to buy
Answer:	The magnetic locks come with screws. Use the tape to hold the lock and latch while you drill and put screws in. There is no double sided tape that will hold those locks when a toddler is pulling on the door or drawer.
Question:	It took me forever to install one of these and then my baby crawled up to it, pulled hard (he's 1) and opened the cabinet. What did I do wrong
Answer:	My daughter is 13 months and they stay shut okay. It took us awhile to figure out how to install them perfectly such that there isn't any extra room between the lock and latch. You have to make sure they are positioned just right relative to each other else there will be a wide gap which allows door to be pulled open more easily. Contrary to what other have said, I find the adhesives to be fairly strong. Once I wanted to pull it off and re-position it closer to the latch and I was able to do so.

When fully closed (locked) they are 5" long on the outside and ~3 3/4" in the inside (where you would have it around the knobs, handles and etc.) Extended, (unlocked) it is 6" outside and 4 3/4" inside.
