Have I also thought that the half on my side is comfy? Oh yes. However, my wife has a keen sense of when I am encroaching onto her pillow and with a swift nudge of the knee I am back to my 40% of the bed again. This pillow has made my pregnant wife's sleep so absolutely fantastic, that I can strongly recommend it - regardless of how much space it takes.         Answer: From the center of the "u" it is about 68" down one side. Keep in mind that you bend your legs when sleeping on your side. I think this will be long enough for you.         Answer: I don't think so. I used it until my baby was sitting up, around 6 mos. But by 4 mos I was probably using it without the little attachment.

        Answer: The pillow has two parts. If necessary you can detach part of the pillow so the baby can rest on just the lap part of the pillow... I think it was worth the money. I only nursed for a couple months but continued to use the pillow for putting the baby to sleep, cuddling, and reading to her for months after.

        Answer: Yes it comes with a cover. I bought this particular one because the cover is 100% cotton. It's a little more expensive but I like it. I think it is soft as well.
