Question:	Does it have a magnetic lid so the toddler part stays up when not in use
Answer:	Yes, it keeps the toddler lid up during adult use. But the magnet on mine isn’t strong enough to keep the toddler attached with the lid down, so you have to put it back up each time you lift the lid.
Question:	What type of plastic is this made of
Answer:	The plastic is durable so far. I don't know the specific type. I can tell you the way it fastens to the toilet is not a good design in my opinion. I've constantly had to tighten it and put it back on.
Question:	lost the hardware, is there somewhere I can get what I need to install the seat? And what am I looking for if so, thanks
Answer:	The only hardware is the two giant round metal inserts that drop in from the top no hardware is needed on bottom. Not sure how anyone could lose them they are not small by any means, ive never seen a fastener like this before you will definitely need to get a replacement through the manufacturer, more then likely a fastener like this is not available separately.

Answer:	We do not recommend molded wood seats with Bidet attachments. The attachment raise the seat adding pressure to the hinges and seat itself. It can cause the seat or hing to break. Answer:	I think you may have a defective one. We have installed 5 of them over 2 years (with many guests) and have never had this happen. I'd return it for a replacement and see if that helps!
