Answer: I think they would be great for a 3 year old. I'm not sure why others say they wouldn't be. I got them for my 20 month old daughter. Granted all children/babies have different development and stages of learning and enjoyment, but these little cups have a lot to offer babies and children of all ages. And as an adult I am impressed with them as well. It's a steal of a deal at less than $4 including shipping. I was surprised and impressed to see that each cup had a number on the bottom as well as different shaped holes depending on the number. Many children and even adults I imagine lol are not going to get that concept, but it by no means necessitates that they couldn't and shouldn't enjoy playing with the cups. My baby loves to line them up and put things and out of them, and she wanted to bring the biggest blue one into the pool with us so it worked awesomely as an 8-holed sprinkler. Anyways, they are cute, fun, and have more to offer as the child progresses and learns and understands new concepts and things. I'm glad I got them for my baby when she was not even 2 and I hope that you got them for the 3 year old toddler despite weird people telling you not to, or if you haven't since you asked that question last November hopefully now you will get them for the nearly 4 year old. Answer: Upon doing some research I found this product listed on another website. Per that website (Drugstore.com) it says: "This baby product is BPA (Bisphenol-A) free." Also all products I could find from this company were listed as BPA free. Answer: It's not true because I used glass bottles on it so many-many times. Just don't make it too hot then put in cold water while still very hot to cool it because it might break your glass bottle. Hope this will help you!
Question: where can I get only the lids for this sippy cup
Answer: Yes, condiment bottles will fit. I use mine for this very reason, to heat massage oil. Keep in mind Lotion, Oil, Water, or Milk will conduct heat at different rates. A bottle of Oil will heat much faster than a bottle of lotion. There is no temperature setting on this machine. The temperature is adjusted by the amount of water you add to the machine which then steams the bottle. Only experience will tell you how much water to add to the machine; I burned my fingers the first time I used it. Polyethylene condiment bottles will deform, though mine have not yet deformed to the point of leaking. Unless you consistently keep your bottles full, you will need to adjust how much water you add. If heating a full bottle makes it warm, heating a half bottle with the same amount of water can cause a burn. A client may not be very forgiving if you injure them. I would recommend a warmer with a temperature setting. They do however cost at least twice as much.
Question: How likely is it that the lid will come off if baby drops the cup from the high chair to the floor
Answer: To be honest in not sure about the comoto bottles but the Tommy Tippee ones are very wide and this bottle warmer fits it.
