I had no idea these were even scented and like you I hate scented items, especially for my kids. In fact I would have argued that they are not scented, but it's in the description. I love these liners though, I highly recommend them! |

We have one and love how it has disposable liners for travel, but it's terribly uncomfortable to sit on top of a normal potty for longer periods of time when you are first starting to potty train. |

So if the potette plus vs. the original design is similar, I imagine it wouldn't matter. |

I liked that it had a splash guard but you still have to train your boys to point their privates down or lean forward on to their knees. When they're old enough to stand though, the splash guard is great for containment if you have them aim at it. I did have some issues with it on the toilet seats though because it doesn't sit flat on the seat so they can definitely get messy on an actual toilet. |
