Answer:	i guess you could spot-treat. but, we didnt find the need because the covers can be washed and babies dont spit up so much that its a big pool of spit up - the pads never even looked dirty to us - ever. so you could, but there is really no need to do that.

Answer:	You can if you’re OK with the foam being exposed on one end, and sharp plastic edges from the cut waterproof vinyl. As long as you use a sheet and maybe a wrapped blanket it should be fine. Alternatively, if you’re adept at sewing you could cut the foam, and then re-sew the vinyl seam closed. Essentially: resizing the mattress.
Question:	There are two different dimensions listed (11x27 and 11x32) - which is it
Answer:	It's shorter than listed. Not 32", more like 31". Could leave a gap if you need a 32" mattress. I tried to return the mattress and was met with terrible customer service, so make sure you really want it.

Answer:	I'm not sure. I really do like this Moses basket, however, one thing that I have realised is that there seems to be a more common 'standard' mattress size amongst various brands and retailers and this basket is not that size. I haven't done a huge amount of research into it but I've so far only been able to purchase additional mattresses from Tadpoles to be sure they fit properly.
