Question:	Is the mattress included? If so, is it good quality? If not, what size mattress should I search for
Answer:	I thought the same as you and ordered a custom size instead. For whatever reason (this was a few years ago) I ordered 24.5 x 37.5. Customer service was great and turn around was fast. It wasn’t that much more expensive. BUT, the mattress ended up being too small- although still useable. The actual measurements I measured when my custom mattress arrived was 23.5 and the length just shy of 37. Not exactly what I ordered! The width ended up being fine, it barely touched the bars on the crib. However, the length was too short. All that to say, I think 26 inches wide would fit fine, just very snuggly which I would think would be better. The material is very squishy so I think it would squish to fit. I wonder about the length though so maybe others could chime in on that. It could be that my custom size was just cut inaccurately or it’s possible that this material “snaps back” or shrinks when cut. I dunno! If I had to order again I’d just order the listed size. I’ve also ordered two other mattresses from them of different sizes and I love them.

Answer:	It has a slight smell but not strong. Once you put a cover over it then you can’t really smell anything. The smell goes away pretty quickly after some time.
