We got a convertible crib that turns into a big kid bed. Doing exactly the same thing now with baby #2. I just ordered this bassinet for them. It's the easiest, safest, and most cost effective way to do things in my opinion. I really did consider other options but this is just the best thing I can think of.

Answer:	We felt comfortable using it overnight. You really aren’t supposed to have anything in the crib with baby according to APA, but this is the only place he would sleep besides on me, and I think it was safer to have him sleep in his bassinet on this then on me all night. We transitioned him out of it before he started rolling over, so we felt safe with it for all sleeping for a month or so till he no longer needed it.

Answer:	Without their arms through the car seat, it isn't really safe to begin with. So, why would they need to put it?

Answer:	There is no Zipper included! Only Velcro around the top portion. The baby’s legs are inserted first and the is enough room so the baby is comfortable.

Answer:	It will fit. My baby is 6 lb 14 oz currently and there is plenty of room to Velcro the swaddle more tightly.

Wished the wheels were on all four posts and could slide in all directions. I didn't personally get a lot of use because my baby was sleeping in her crib early. Eventually moved to my closet to have somewhere to put her while I was getting ready for the day. Next baby I would consider a more traditional bassinet.
