The NORA sensor reads the heart rate continuously. It takes about 2 min to get an initial reading. When it's out of 70 to 160 BPM during sleeping, the App triggers a critical alert on your iPhone. The critical alert can override your iOS settings like the do-not-disturb to make sure it's heard.

Skin Temperature

The NORA sensor measures the foot temperature, which is always lower than the body's core temperature. Diaper Mode

Besides using NORA as a sock, the self-sticking sensor can be attached to the front inner side of any diaper. NORA is the only one that supports both sock and diaper configurations. You would find it's very necessary when the baby is able to grab and strip off the sock by himself or herself. And it's very necessary when the baby starts to learn to stand on feet.

• The 'Sock Mode' supports from birth to 18-month-old using three sock sizes, while It's recommended for birth to 6-month-old because many babies are able to start grabbing and pulling the sensor on their feet beyond that age. The 'Sock Mode' is good at catching the heart rate and it's more sensitive to ambient temperature change besides it has a longer Bluetooth range, so it's recommended for newborns.
• The 'Diaper Mode' allows you to attach the self-sticking sensor to the front inner side of diapers. The velcro on the sensor sticks to all diapers of major manufacturers. The 'Diaper Mode' is very necessary because babies above 6-month-old become very curious about surroundings including the sock on their feet and they start to learn standing. They grab, pull, and strip the sock. In contrast, a sensor hidden in the diaper draws little attention, especially after putting on clothes, so you can use the sensor up to 3-years-old.
• 'Diaper Mode' has a shorter Bluetooth range (30ft) than the 'Sock Mode' range (40ft) because the sensor is more enclosed by the body. When the baby is hugged by adults in the 'Diaper Mode', the sensor is sandwiched by bodies, and the Bluetooth range decreases to about 20ft.

Answer:	I've had mine for about a month now and must say I have not been easy on it. I toss and turn in my sleep, and my cat decided it was a great chew toy about 2 weeks in, but it's holding up fine. It's very soft and comfortable, you just have to wear it low on your nose to effectively block out light.

Answer:	No, you don't have to wash - I used mine right out of the bag. There was no bad smell, but I usually do wash my clothing before wearing; a lot of folks don't (personal preference). I have a similar silk mask that has washing instructions: hand wash cold in mild detergent, and let air-dry (flat or hanging); no bleach, no dryer, low iron setting if needed.

Question:	The hole seems for to small for our 4 month old. She continues to turn her head the same direction which caused her flat head. Is this typical
Answer:	The pillow will provide pressure relief regardless of how she turns her head. So it should still be ok

Answer:	It’s a perfect size. My grandson started using it st three months old. He is now 7 months old and if still fits perfectly.

Answer:	My personal recommendation is yes....anything you use for your little one it's best to wash first.
Question:	does this come with a pillow case or do I need to purchase one
Answer:	No it does not come with a pillow case nor does the cover come off. I put the entire pillow in the washing machine with babies clothes and just let it air dry. (FYI great little pillow baby doesn't mind it and it does seem to be helping a little... I'm told correcting flat head is a slow process and takes a long time wish i would have purchased from day 1)

Answer:	27 inches wide by 13 long. When both wedges are together it is about 4 1/2 inches high. One wedge is 3 inches high and the other is 1 1/2 inches high.

Answer:	I wouldn’t think so. My child still rolls with it under the mattress.
