Question:	what is it made of
Answer:	This mobile requires batteries and has an "On-Off" switch. I assume it plays as long as you prefer and as long as the "On" switch is in position. I do not know if it keeps turning without the music on as it was a gift. I bought a "back-up" wind-up music box (that does not require batteries) in case the mom preferred that one. The wind-up style lasts only a 3 minutes or so if you prefer something that shuts off automatically. (That one only plays, "You Are My Sunshine" ).
