I kept the other two pillow inserts and put them in a regular pillow case. We both sleep much better. Feather pillows are the way to go. Next time I'll spring for a pillow with goose down. Couldn't tell you how much is actually in these pillow inserts without tearing them open. If it's 5-10% it's definitely not enough.

Answer:	Foam is pretty firm. When I sit on the bed with my legs hanging over to talk to my son before bed my legs are raised over the wedge with no compression. I cannot sit directly on top of wedge as the point stays and it’s not comfortable. I’m sure if something extremely heavy was placed on it it would compress but we haven’t had that problem.

Answer:	Foam could be cut but it is in a protective nylon case which if I remember correctly is not removable so the protective case would have to be cut as well. Could still work but then foam would not be water/ stain resistant.

Answer:	A baby does not need a pillow and should NEVER use one! It is not safe! Introduce a pillow around 2 years old, or even older! To make sure he is breathing properly put him in a crib on his back with no pillows or blankets, nothing but a flat mattress and a tightly fitting sheet. On his back!!
