Answer:	NO. I doubt if 8 months old will have the dexterity to hold, squeeze gulp-able amounts.

Answer:	I found that with home made puree, the food got stuck as well, as the food processor left pieces slightly larger than the hole. As soon as I tried an organic applesauce from the store, it worked absolutely perfectly. Answer:	Quite simple, actually. We installed opposite of our actual door... So that it did not interrupt coming and going at all. I only needed my husbands assistance when I slid the large glass pane which had never been moved.

We recommend that the door you are installing is solid material and can be cut safely (for glass doors, the cutting and installation process can be dangerous.) And we recommend that the thickness of the installation carrier be greater than 1.25 inches (3.15cm).

Answer:	That's a great question. This pet door cannot be made that high. I do not know if any pet door with that height. Just to be certain you are measuring correctly, for pet door height you should measure to your dog's back, not top of head.

Answer:	You should be able to still use the sliding door portion, but you will lose some space to move through with the pet door in place. It is usually put in the same track as the sliding door, but we have had some customers install the door in the same track as the stationary slider, making it more of a semi-permanent installation.

I would recommend to not wash it together with heavier fabrics like for example a pair of jeans to make sure it doesn't hurt the wire in the neckline. After washing it you should hang it up to air dry.
