To keep your clay free from blemishes, keep it in your hands – do not put it down on any surface. After 3 minutes of kneading, your clay will be one smooth piece, and then, you’re ready to roll!

Simply place the clay into the center of frame’s backboard, and press with the palm of your hand. Fill the entire space right into the corners. Then use the enclosed roller to smooth it out. No need to rush, your clay will stay soft for a while – take your time to capture the perfect little handprint.

Capture Your Precious Imprint

For a perfect, wiggle free print you may like to wait until baby is sleeping peacefully.



Simply press baby’s hand, or foot into the clay to make your print. Press firmly, splaying the fingers for a handprint, and for a footprint, keep the toes straight.



If you make a mistake, it’s ok! Your long drying clay can be kneaded again for another go!

Allow Your Clay To Harden Well

Allow up to 4 days for your clay to set. Other companies won’t tell you, but results can be heartbreaking – mold, and random fingerprints! No touching, for 4 days.

Then, you’re ready to frame. But first, Baby Pictures! The photo slots are 2.75” x 2.75”, but cut your pictures slightly larger (approx ¼ inch around) so they don’t slip. Affix pictures with the double sided tape included in your kit.

Assembling the frame is easy. Place the outer frame on a table – front side facing down. Place the protective acrylic, then the white insert, and finally the clay imprint backboard, and secure.

Question:	My frame has broken even before using it ? Any way I can get the frame alone
Answer:	I'm not too sure if you can get the frame alone but you could buy another one and use the other pictures for like a collage or something just to suggested

Answer:	There's enough ink for each hand/foot print and then some (mistakes/test prints). I probably did at least six to choose the best one. You might have turned the ink pad the wrong so the print isn't transferring.

1. Practice placing baby hand/foot on a paper.

2. Gently press an ink pad onto a baby’s hand/foot. Try not to rub the ink pad on the foot, the dabbing motions will work better. Make sure the ink covers all of the hand/foot.

3. Place the inked hand/foot onto a paper.

4. Wipe the inked hand/foot with a baby wipe so the remaining ink will not touch anything by accident. Repeat step 2-4 with another hand/foot.

5. Let the ink dry completely for 10-15 mins.

6. Wash the ink off hands/feet with soap and warm water.

Simply dabbing our raised up ink pad onto the baby’s foot/hand thoroughly then press inked hand/foot onto an uncoated paper, canvas, belly casting, etc. Avoid putting the ink onto nails. Answer:	I purchased this to get my dog and cats paw prints. It was not the best. The ink wasn’t very good, we had to try several times. My dogs paw was too big for the pad also. I wouldn’t recommend

Answer:	If you press firmly and hold it until she can't stand it ..you may get a faint mark of a hand. Agree that it's too dry and firm (although very light) to get a good print. I was personally disappointed with the results. I had to purchase self-drying clay (two different types at Walmart) before finding one that captured all the details of adorable little hands (I also did his feet).

Answer:	no. I used 1 kit to make a handprint for my 7 year old with a little plaster left over. There is not enough material for 2 larger handprints. You need a bowl or something to make the circle. The circle cutter included in the kit is not big enough for a 6 or 9 year old's hand. I didn't like the product much but everything else out there is similar. Hope this helps.

Answer:	A standard wallet size fits (2.5" x 3.5") the small frame slots. But as others have mentioned, the slots are small. You can get custom prints at smaller sizes of 1.25" x 1.75" to fit exactly, as well. Our local drug store photo printer was able to do this.

Answer:	I just left mine on the foil and placed it on a paper plate for extra suppprt and let it dry. I set it on top of fridge so it wouldn't get disturbed.

Answer:	About 12-18 months. Freezing it will actually prevent the loss of moisture allowing it to last even longer without affecting the clay.
Question:	Will this work for a 3 y/o and a 5 y/o? What is the size of each round for the print
Answer:	If you are doing just a hand print it will work for a 3 or 5 year old. Keep in mind this is hard clay not lightweight one.I would get lightweight one that way you can strach it more and make it thinner. They are more durable and you can hang them on a tree.These will break if you drop them but are more beautiful for display on shelfs.

Answer:	3 or 4 days fully. Keep it air tight for 24 hrs then air dry out of sun.

Answer:	Not really and I don’t think it dries slow enough to do art. You don’t fire it. There’s only enough to fill the space flat to do the impressions. It’s great for what it does, though. Mine still look perfect 2 years later.

Answer:	I did this with a 7 month old and did not have to press that hard. He didn't mind it. You might want two people with the new born and press down each finger individually.
