Answer:	The cover is a printed paper where the gold is a shiny foil finish. This part is hard to explain, but the cover has a slight "cushion" to it which makes it much nicer. It's like there is a thin piece of foam under the paper cover and on top of the rigid board. It's very nice. Hope this helps.

Answer:	At this point we do no offer any extra pages to add to the back. However, each book includes 11 blank pages already that can be used for whatever purpose suits you.
Question:	Has this book been updated, like other versions, to remove specific references to mom and dad
Answer:	Thanks for reaching out! For our baby memory books, we tried to take a very child-focused approach. You will find that most references to parents are worded like "we loved," "we watched you grow," etc. We have recently updated our books and removed the family tree labels due to various family dynamics to give customers the freedom to label each space to fit their personal situations. The only specific reference to any one parent is on the "before you were born" page where there's a photo spot for mom's belly and a blank to write what mom was craving. We hope this helps!

Answer:	Yes it does and a space for hand tracing also. There are pages for both announcements and hospital bracelets too... And several blank pages at the back for whatever you like. It's the cutest book! I love. It and I got the matching animal month stickers go use for each months photo.

Answer:	Pages are fairly thick, but I would recommend using a fine tip sharpie just in case. I have been using a nice felt tip pen (not sharpie) and there has been zero bleed through.

Answer:	Yes, i believe it does. I bought it as a baby shower gift and didn't open it. But the description states there is extra pages.

Answer:	Great question! I assumed it would be, but I just flipped through every page, and there is zero mention of boy/he. I'm impressed with the manufacturer - and with you for thinking outside the box. (pun intended?). All the references to the child stick to "Baby" or "You." Hope that helps!

Answer:	There is a page that lists the date, age, head circumference, length, and weight for 17 entries (1 year, 5 months if you go by month)

Answer:	Yes there is a page just for little foot prints called "prints of Love". It's a whole page that you could put the prints from the hospital there, or ink your own babies feet and press them on the page. I put the paper the hospital gave me there. Less mess at home!

Place the clean-touch ink pad, ink side down on the included white, imprint card.

STEP 2

Gently press baby's hand or foot onto the clean-touch ink pad. Ink pads will accommodate newborn's hand/feet up to 2.25” wide x 3.5” long.

STEP 3

Press down hard enough to create the print. If baby moves, no problem! Each clean-touch ink pad includes two imprint cards and can be used a maximum of two times.

STEP 4

Once the print is transferred onto the imprint card, slowly remove the clean-touch ink pad. Let dry for 24-48 hours and display in your home! This keepsake is perfect for always cherishing baby's tiny little print.
