Answer:	If you press firmly and hold it until she can't stand it ..you may get a faint mark of a hand. Agree that it's too dry and firm (although very light) to get a good print. I was personally disappointed with the results. I had to purchase self-drying clay (two different types at Walmart) before finding one that captured all the details of adorable little hands (I also did his feet).

Answer:	no. I used 1 kit to make a handprint for my 7 year old with a little plaster left over. There is not enough material for 2 larger handprints. You need a bowl or something to make the circle. The circle cutter included in the kit is not big enough for a 6 or 9 year old's hand. I didn't like the product much but everything else out there is similar. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It's just a protective film that covers the whole piece of plexiglass, please peel it off from both sides and you will have a clean plexiglass with no symbol.

Answer:	The pictures are square and i think 3x3 from memory. Not a common size I guess but I was able to find something quite easily that worked

Insert the soft clay into the of the frame, and use the wooden stick to create a smooth and flat enough surface. Use the same method to make another clay frame. Let’s Get You Started.

Your kit comes complete with 1 Extra Large pack of non-toxic white clay. After a thorough handwash, open your clay package, and knead the clay together with love. To keep your clay free from blemishes, keep it in your hands – do not put it down on any surface. After 3 minutes of kneading, your clay will be one smooth piece, and then, you’re ready to roll!

Simply place the clay into the center of frame’s backboard, and press with the palm of your hand. Fill the entire space right into the corners. Then use the enclosed roller to smooth it out. No need to rush, your clay will stay soft for a while – take your time to capture the perfect little handprint.

Capture Your Precious Imprint

For a perfect, wiggle free print you may like to wait until baby is sleeping peacefully.



Simply press baby’s hand, or foot into the clay to make your print. Press firmly, splaying the fingers for a handprint, and for a footprint, keep the toes straight.



If you make a mistake, it’s ok! Your long drying clay can be kneaded again for another go!

Allow Your Clay To Harden Well

Allow up to 4 days for your clay to set. Other companies won’t tell you, but results can be heartbreaking – mold, and random fingerprints! No touching, for 4 days.

Then, you’re ready to frame. But first, Baby Pictures! The photo slots are 2.75” x 2.75”, but cut your pictures slightly larger (approx ¼ inch around) so they don’t slip. Affix pictures with the double sided tape included in your kit.

Ready For Proud Display

Assembling the frame is easy. Place the outer frame on a table – front side facing down. Place the protective acrylic, then the white insert, and finally the clay imprint backboard, and secure.

Knead Clay

Knead clay well for 3-5 minutes this ensures the oils are evenly mixed. Don't put the clay down on any surface because it will pick up dirt and lint.

Fill and Smoothen Clay

Place the round clay ball into the large section of the picture frame. Use the palm of your hand and gently spread out the clay, make sure the clay fills up the entire space even the corners. Use the rolling pin or a mug and gently roll until the surface of the clay is evenly smooth. Make sure there are no minor cracks on the surface.

Handprint and Footprints

Press the baby's hands and feet gently but firmly into the clay and make sure to leave room for the Interior frame/divider. Use a pair of scissors to separate the letter pieces. Assemble the letters to the handle and engrave the baby's name and/or birth date in the clay.

Assembly and Display

Insert 2 cute pictures into the picture frame cut-outs, using the double-sided tape to secure them in place. Assembly the frame and display your baby’s itty-bitty hands and feet with the most adorable photos on the perfect spot that you desire.

Can You Believe A Mug Can Make It Easier For You?

Use the side of a mug to roll the clay instead of the wooden roller because the surface is much bigger and require fewer rolls. It is a huge time saver, and the flattening result would be much better.

How Our Clay Offer A Second Chance Immediately If The First Print Isn't Perfect?

Like all the footprint kits out there, the clay is air-dry, and that's how the print can be formed by letting it dry for a few days.

However, we understand it may take times to work with your child on the print. Within the first 5 - 10 minutes of opening the bag of clay, if the clay starts looking dry, or you are not happy with the first print, simply add two drops of cooking oils in the middle of the clay and knead it again.

Oil can keep the clay smooth and soft.

Do NOT print too close to the sides

For aesthetic reasons, all footprint kit products have a smaller mat opening than the actual print area, so if you print too close to the sides, part of the print would be hidden.
