Question:	How long is the knife in inches
Answer:	On the package, it says they are safe to be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. I've washed them in the utensil basket in the lower part of the dishwasher anyway (I'm a rebel) with no issues, and have been been doing so for nearly six months. However, I assume a sterilizer would have a much higher temperature than regular dishwasher settings, and would assume that it would cause damage to the spoon or, at least, discoloration.

Answer:	Only slightly, I am 5'3" and my feet touch the ground. However it does not sag like inexpensive chairs. Warning. The shade is a little hard to insert into the notches. It requires a very firm hand to get in it place
