Answer:	After using one, I would say it is water resistant, but not completely waterproof. If liquid is left sitting on the surface of the mat, a small amount does eventually make it through to the floor, and the mat will get a wet-looking spot that doesn’t just wipe off (because it has soaked in).

Just as if you look up a 42 inch television, the dimensions stated in the "technical details" section would be the size of the box it comes in, so would probably state some inches larger than 42. (I know this has probably been resolved, but I'm hoping to help someone who may also have this question)

Question:	What’s the difference between this and the one for low/medium carpets? Are the teeth any longer
Answer:	The carpet mat for thicker carpets are heavier duty or said another way they are thicker plastic so they don't bend as easy as to create divots from the chair.
Question:	How long are the spikes supposed to be for the extra thick carpet version? Mine are less than 1/8" and the pad keeps sliding around
Answer:	Hello, This is correct the grippers should be around 1/8" as it is usually the thickness of the mat which changes for different piles of carpet. Long grippers can damage flooring by pulling at the root on the carpet fibres over time. However, we would recommend changing the position of the chair mat if possible as depending on the carpet type you may find that the mat is able to grip the carpet better when laid in a different direction.
Question:	Can this item be trimmed / cut with proper tools
Answer:	it probably could be, but I don't think I would try it, it's a very sturdy hard plastic.

Answer:	I tried go the stairs with a trolley cart that full of food and it was not bad! It's much easier than an ordinary cart with one wheel, labor saving.

Answer:	I don't see any reason why not. I took this as picnic mat just the other day with my family went out to a park and nothing went wrong with this mat.
