Answer:	It’s not cold like touching porcelain cold, but it’s not warm to the touch either. Feels about same temperature as the wooden chair it sits on, the blue seat area maybe a little less cold than the white part.

Question:	It says that the height is adjustable, what is the range? We only need about 2" high for our toddler
Answer:	When it says it's adjustable it's a bit misleading. You can't actually adjust the height to what you want, what there is is the seat and the grey part is an insert that adds about an inch and a half in height to the booster. If you only need 2 inches then you can just remove the grey insert and use the seat only.
Question:	Is this a hollow bottom where the pressure is on the 4 corners or a solid flat bottom? We have leather padded seats that were damaged by the former

Answer:	Depends on the height of your table/desk and if that table/desk has an apron under the top. The cushion is 3" thick and there's barely clearance for the child's thighs under the table for my 3-year old. Maybe stack up some books or magazines to 3" height and let your 8 yr-old see if that would work for him/her.

Question:	What are the main tray dimensions? Need measurements
Answer:	7 1/4in by 13 1/2in outside edge to edge. Interior surface is 6 1/4in by 12in (actual eating surface). End of clip to end of tray is 11in. All are rough estimates with tape measure.
Question:	How high is this booster
Answer:	At the highest setting, I would say about 6 inches off the chair (at the seat). Middle setting would be about 3-4 inches, and lowest setting about 1-2 inches. That's why I like this seat, there are 3 adjustable height settings, so when we bought a new table, we didn't have to but a new seat as well. We were able to just lower the booster down.
Question:	Has anyone traveled with this? Can I pack it in my suitcase or is it too bulky for that
Answer:	I have not traveled with it. But, it comes apart pretty well, is light and should fit easily in a suitcase- wont increase your weight by much, but will take some space (see the dimensions of product)

Answer:	Not to be crass, but what's the diff between using a product beyond its limit and using a product for something other that what it was intended? Either way you're using something in a way that the safety is unknown. I'd take my chances using something actually intended to be used in a vehicle. I have a friend who is a carseat specialist. They said the Safety 1st incognito has no arm rests and is a little wider than a usual backless booster. That might be worth looking in to.

Question:	What are the dimensions on the tray? We have little baby plates and the other seat we bought has a tray too small small to fit them
Answer:	The bottom tray without the cup holder area is 7.75 x 13 inches. Top tray with cup holder is 7.5 x 9.5. Yes, some of the larger children's divided plates will not sit flat on the tray. I have found a few small divided plates and or use bowls/saucers. Sometimes the food goes directly on the tray depending on what it is.

Answer:	YES! I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher. I tried the washing machine but it didn't get clean enough for my liking.
