The tray is slightly above our normal dinning room table and slides over it placing the child at the table with us. I moved it over to our kitchen counter and the tray fits just under the counter which would also allow the child to sit with everyone at meal time. We have also used the removable seat and placed it in a standard kitchen chair so that might also be an option.

You can't actually adjust the height to what you want, what there is is the seat and the grey part is an insert that adds about an inch and a half in height to the booster. If you only need 2 inches then you can just remove the grey insert and use the seat only.

Question:	What is the minimum weight/length requirement? My son is 8 months but was born 14 weeks early and is still tiny for his adjusted age (5.5 months
Answer:	I don’t have the exact info you’re looking for...sorry. The manufacturer indicates this product is appropriate from age 4 months. I think the more important factor is your little guy’s head/neck control, rather than his size. My daughter has used this seat from four months on with no problems. In fact, the bigger the baby, the more likely they’ll be able to lock out their legs and scoot the entire seat (which is what my baby has figured out in the last month).

Just to add on what others have mentioned, we manufacture The Upseat with quality components here in North America, which is a little bit more expensive than manufacturing in China.
