Answer:	I do not know if this is equivalent to a n95. It may not be because the package it came in says N99 Anti Pollution Mask. It's a protector against PM2.5 (don't know what that means) pollen and smoke. Suitable for all kins of outdoor adventure like uban cycling, mountain-biking, horse-riding, skiing, jogging, climbing. It must be sealed properly around the nose & mouth, so when you breath in, the air will pass through the filter. It's made from 60% cotton, 40% polyester. It has a lot of space over the nose section. It's easy to insert & change out the filter. The adjustable ear loops is a nice feature but the elastic is not very long. You have to be careful when adjusting the ear loop because if you adjust it to the very the loop will come off and it looks like you'd have a hard time pulling the elastic through the loop. Not sure this mas would work on large faces. I'm 5 ft, petite. Overall I like this mask. It's very soft, roomy on the nose bridge and very comfortable. Hope this helps
