Answer:	The cage is quite large for a hamster. We recently purchased this box for our bunny. We also have a hamster and I wouldn’t use it as her home for two reasons-concern for her falling from the upper shelf(unless you removed it) and I quickly learned shavings get easily stuck between the box and the drawer you pull out to clean, which makes cleanup more of a hassle.

I can sympathize with your position but I will just add that, over the past many months, China has filled a gap in the American supply chain for PPE products. Hopefully, the US will be able to meet its own demand in the future. The US has very complicated relationships with many countries around the world and China is no exception.
