Answer:	The cage is quite large for a hamster. We recently purchased this box for our bunny. We also have a hamster and I wouldn’t use it as her home for two reasons-concern for her falling from the upper shelf(unless you removed it) and I quickly learned shavings get easily stuck between the box and the drawer you pull out to clean, which makes cleanup more of a hassle.

Answer:	The fleece liner is well suited to my midwest cage. It is a little larger than the cage, which better keeps waste and fluids off the cages. Approx. 50 1/2 * 27 1/2 IN.

Answer:	The GuineaDad fleece is so pricey and they shrink after wash. But this one is better, won't shrink. Well made, very soft and cozy. And I like the cute design, my piggies love it and do their happy dance on it. Just about to buy a second one.

Answer:	I have two Haakaas, and these do not work nearly as well. They are decent but not the same. If a haakaa is an A+, these are C+. They will definitely do the job of catching milk, but you will not get as much as output as a Haakaa.
Question:	How do you get the lid to stay on and secure? Seems likely the lid is never on correctly. Is there a trick to this
Answer:	I put it on and gently squeezed to create some suction, however, I do not use these as storage containers because I cannot get the lids tight either. I think it's more of a way to keep it covered/sterile until you can get it in another container.
