Answer:	I would NEVER use a microwave to warm up milk for a baby. Use a bottle warmer, crock-pot or a pot of warm water, instead. Microwaving milk can cause hot spots that could cause severe burns to your baby. The glass on these EvenFlo bottles is heavy. If it is dropped on a carpet or a hard-wood floor, the bottle should be okay. If you drop it onto a ceramic tile floor, you might damage the bottle. Or, the tile. There are silicon sleeves available for these bottles, now. They were not available when we used these bottles for our son. I recommend getting them. There are other glass bottles with silicone sleeves available. The ones we tried were: Avent, Dr. Browns and LifeFactory. All of those bottles were excellent quality. We also used glass bottles from Tommee Tippee and Lollaland. These are also excellent bottles. However, I do not see silicone sleeves available for their bottles.

Question:	Does anyone notice a different measurement system with Evenflo? 1 ounce from Avent is slightly less than what is indicated on Evenflo
Answer:	I strongly suspect these will work. In fact, based on my research, it seems like all the skinny nipples work with a lot of bottle types with the smaller mouths, e.g. the kinds that attach to most breastpumps like medela bottles. I'm using the enfamil nipples with my medela bottles right now, but I'm planning on graduating to using these bottles with Dr. Brown nipples. If that fails, I'll update this, but otherwise assume it worked ;-)
