Not like the insulated "Tumbler" style cups... but they work fine for our needs.

Answer:	To protect the quality of the design, we recommend washing this stainless steel water bottle by hand. Relatively wide mouth opening makes the bottle easy to clean. For the thorough inside cleaning, we recommend using warm water with soap and a bottle brush. For the outside of the bottle, we recommend using a soft section of a sponge. However, all the caps: the 2 sports lids and the stainless still lid, are dishwasher safe. Hope it helps :)

Answer:	I have been using mine since Dec of 2016 (10 monhts), after about 6 months I noticed the Born Free logo is coming off two bottles but not the measurement lines. Our steam sterilizer stopped working in May and we have been boiling for ten minutes for every wash daily (about 2X a day) We have had to throw away two because of the threading being chipped in the last week, so the bottles are over 10 months old and have been being boiled for 5 months. I'm not sure if the chips came from having the water boil too rapidly or not paying enough attention when sliding onto the drying rack because our rack does cause them to slide together.
