Answer:	Need to clarify above (this is Scott, the business owner again)... I totally goofed and wrote the wrong material in the description above... it is NOT polycarbonate, that is what our PRESCRIPTION lenses are made out of! I got that confused with polypropylene... Our frames are made out of a specially blended rubber and polypropylene material our Italian manufacturer created for us. The material is safety tested to be free of all toxicants, including lead, latex, BPA, pthalates, cadmium, etc. Our sunglasses lenses are also a specially designed polarized TAC (triacetate cellulose) material. Our sunglasses have no polycarbonate at all. Hope that helps!!

Answer:	These sunglasses, which I do love, are slightly too large for my small 17-month old. I can't remember his head size, but he's relatively proportional, and is 7% in weight. They still slid a bit down his nose, so I would think they would be fine for your son.
