Answer:	These are not hard to take off of the Polaris cleaner. At times, it will pop off by itself if you don't get it on good.

Answer:	The easiest way to do that is pour a bit of hot water on the cap after filling the bag. After that it is a piece of cake to close the seal. I hope, they don't change them because of a lot of complaints. This seal will not leak all winter, and the subsequent year no hot water is needed.
