Answer:	You "DO NOT" re-use pocket diapers untill it's been washed. These diapers are pockets. It has a layer that has pee on it and unlike a COVER it can't be wiped clean it has to be washed.

I have been using these with my baby for the past 2 months and lately, I noticed my baby boy is having serious rashes in his bum as well as his frontal area (including his actual penis). We change him every 2 hours and right away if he pooped. Have tried extra rinsing, steaming and multiple washes but he is still getting serious rashes. Haven't tried stripping yet but so far, this has given him rashes which he never had when he was still on disposables.

Answer:	The inserts look to be.....double thickness of white micro fiber....they are sergered around the fabric.My daughter uses them with her little girl. They are very, very soft. The inserts are usable in other cloth diapering systems. The baby is a heavy wetter and has not had leaks. I hope this helps you!

Answer:	That depends. If you do it like recommended, then yes. Instead of putting the inserts in the pocket as it calls for, we just lay them inside so that they act as a liner instead. This way, for wet diapers all that needs to be changed and washed is the insert/liner and the cover can last half a day at the least. With poop, it depends on the volume to be honest. A large poop will get enough mess in there to need to change the whole thing, but smaller ones generally don't for us. We generally go through 12-15 inserts and 2-4 covers a day.

Question:	What is the largest waist setting measurements
Answer:	I use these in pocket diapers so they go inside the diaper shell but I don't see any reason why they would cause a rash if you put them right against the bum- they are very soft. The advantage of putting them inside the pocket is that the outer layer of the pocket diapers wick the moisture away. This holds the moisture so the pee would be sitting against baby's skin.

Answer:	I don't follow that and my inserts (24 of them) are still like-new. I wash inserts and diapers together in a hot pre-soak, hot wash, cold rinse. (I dry the liners in the dryer on high.)

Answer:	I don't know what "Super Undies" are, but I imagine these could go on the inside of any type of diaper or underwear. You may just want to check the width of the underwear you're thinking of with the width of these to make sure these aren't too wide.

Question:	Hi i have a french bulldog that doesn’t control esfinters and I used diapers for babies. I use size 4 huggies. Will this ones work for my dog
Answer:	There is no place for a tail , but bulldogs just have cute little stubs, so that shouldn't be a problem. These diapers are adjustable around the legs and waste to accommodate up to a 35 lb child. My girl would still wear these when she was in 5 diapers and, while they were a bit snug, even when she wore 6s. She could also wear them all the way back to newborn stage, so these should work for you.

Answer:	No, these are only a signle gusset. Some Alva diapers do come with double gussets but in my experience they have always been labelled that way.

Answer:	Yes, they are absolutely reusable/washable! They're made of soft cloth; you can rinse them or swirl them in the toilet (depending on if they're wet or dirty) before putting them in the washing machine.
Question:	Do you have to change the shell every time you change a insert
Answer:	Yes. You should change the shell when you change the insert. This is a pocket diaper. The insert goes in a pocket, and that touches the baby's skin. This "pocket" also gets wet or poo on it, so it should be changed. There are 2 inserts per diaper. I have found one is great for daytime and 2 gets me through the night! If you want a diaper that you reuse the shell, I would recommend either the flip system or econobum. Both are great. I have noticed that I almost always have to change the shell as well. EBF poo, rarely misses the leg gussets on diapers, or so is my experience. I would not recommend best bottom. I have used the newborn alva pockets with a g-diaper insert layed on top of the pocket. I can then take the insert out and reuse the shell. I have been able to get a couple of diaper changes out of one that way, but this is not what is intended, and I would not use the included microfiber insert for this purpose.

Answer:	Fow a newborn you are going to want at least 25-30 diapers. A newborn usually goes through about 8-10 diapers a day. So you will want more if you dont want to have to wash them every other day. You will really only need about 20 when they get into the OS ones. However we weren't a fan of these diapers. There was just too many snaps and it was a pain to get the sizing correct. Plus they leak really fast. But they are Alva brand(considered china cheapies). I siggest looking into the thirsties or bumgenius brand for newborn sizes. We LOVED those.

Answer:	I usually do, then hang to dry.
Question:	Are these good for very heavy night wetters
Answer:	They have very snug elastic at the waist and legs. And are made of very thick cloth. Because they are cloth, they get wet like any other swim diaper. But any solid “poop” can not get out.
Question:	Will these be absorbent enough to use after washing once
Answer:	At least rinse out the chlorine. And of course if it’s was soiled, definitely wash.

How to treat heavy wetter?

You do generally have to change them more often than most people change disposables since some leave their children in disposables for 4+ hours. You are looking at changing cloth diapers every 1.5-2 hours as a general rule of thumb. If you would like some extra absorbency for heavy wetters, try using or adding bamboo or charcoal bamboo inserts.

Question:	When changing the insert do you also change out the shell
Answer:	I doubt it, and I actually hated these. They retained so much water from the pool that it was super bulky for the baby. For overnight , I use the Pampers overnight protection pull ups. I also found the publix brand to be very good holding pee which are less expensive.
Question:	At the smallest/tightest setting, what age or weight will fit
Answer:	I’ve used them over a regular or swim diaper but you usually have to go up a size to accommodate for the extra padding. They work great without any diapers too!
