| Answer: | It really is a pain to change the position of the crotch strap on all car seats. You have to get it as flat as possible and do it at sort of an angle, and use some muscle. I have weak hands from surgeries so I had to have my husband manhandle it. It's much easier to get back in. Good luck. |

In the Britax seat it's almost a design flaw I think. It's not the headrest area grabbing the straps, it's the harness buckle mechanism in the back that connects the 2 shoulder straps to the 2 leg straps. As u pull it forward to tighten it it reaches a hump where the steel buckle has to make a 90 degree turn. I thought the Graco would be different, I was about to order it. This sucks... |
