Answer:	I wouldn’t recommend this for that young. A convertible rear facing seat would be best. LOVED the Chicco NextFit for my kids at that age. It is recommended to keep kids rear facing to at least 2 years old and as long as possible / up to the weight limit of a rear facing car seat (much longer than 27lbs and 16 months).

Question:	Compared with the pinnacle, it looks like the height limit for the 5-point harness is much lower. is that accurate? how is that an improvement
Answer:	It was lowered! And the price for the secure guard was raised due to this. I believe they quietly retired the frontier and pinnacle due to a crash test done by consumer reports where the harness failed for a child above 65lbs. Britax has refused to acknowledge the report but as you can see, they lowered the limit for harness mode.

Answer:	The cup holder can be left off but it does make it a bit wider. It’s super easy to install. I remove and install them often as I drive for Lyft. If the kids cup is y’all they can knock them off but most kids cups are not too tall so they’ll be fine.

Answer:	There are no slats on this frame. There are steel bars that approximately 13" apart with cable wires that run perpendicular and are spaced about 4.5 inches apart. It is similar to a spring frame for a trundle bed.

Answer:	As stated from the manufacturer: "Not compatible with the 16" Deluxe, Premium 18", SmartBase 10” and 12” and MyEuro SmartBase." Not clear what brackets the Seller is referring. If there ares brackets for the 18" Premium, provide the part number.

Question:	Is the seat pad different than the r series? My son was uncomfortable for some reason in those and I’m wondering if the padding is different w this
Answer:	Yes one has an all metal bottom bracket. To be honest this has always had a metal bottom bracket. We have a different version that we recently upgrade a bottom bracket from plastic to metal. Answer:	1. No 2. Idk 3. I went to Lowe’s and bought 3/4” plastic clamps and screwd one into my dashboard. Works great.
Question:	Is there a way to increase the length of buckle harness?it is too short and difficult to use

Answer:	Yes, clips were included in with the mount I received. There were at least TWO different sizes of "clips" (and possibly a third size).
