Answer:	Yes one has an all metal bottom bracket. To be honest this has always had a metal bottom bracket. We have a different version that we recently upgrade a bottom bracket from plastic to metal. Answer:	The sock doesn’t have an actual elastic on the top but rather the whole sock is clings to the leg. My son is 6’ and these go over the calf and cling to his whole leg. They don’t slide down at all and these are actually better than Stance socks that will “run” like traditional women’s nylons.

Answer:	I'm sorry, are you sure she's 8 and 36 pounds? That would have her off the bottom of the charts for growth. 5% is 45 pounds at that age. If she's that size/age, I think you'll need to assess whether this is a viable seat for her.

Answer:	My 6 yr old granddaughter is using it and there is plenty of room. We use it with the shoulder/lap belt combined. I wouldn't use any booster with just the lap belt.

Question:	How does the shoulder belt clip work? It it attached to the seat somehow
Answer:	The red belt clip is adhered to the rear of the Chicco GoFit Booster seat using a web fabric strap. The clip attaches to the vehicle shoulder strap using the open slot in the clip. The instructions demonstrate the proper placement of the clip. The only problem is that the position does not stay constant. Whenever the child reapplies the seat belt, the clip must be readjusted which should be done properly by an adult. I bought this booster because of the shoulder belt clip, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. My seven year old grandson doesn't ride with me frequently so I have some time to work with another way to make the strap stay more firmly in place, perhaps adding an 'S' type buckle. Recommended use:

Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. Then children should ride forward-facing, using the built-in harness system for as long as possible until they reach the maximum forward-facing weight or height for their car seat.
