For our newborn we use a regular car seat with a click connect base. So we can pull the whole seat out say for example if you are going to the store or anywhere else unless you want to hold baby the whole time.

The carseat should fit tightly to the back of the seat using either the cars restraint system coupled with the top tether or the LATCH system/top tether. If you are able to recline it, it's probably not installed correctly.

Answer:	He will not outgrow a car seat and graduate into a booster until he is at least 65 lbs. for average children that takes a few years of growth. Check your local laws, department of transportation or .gov sites will tell you what’s acceptable. This car seat is awesome and simple to install. My child is 27 lbs. rear facing for as long as possible. Protect the head and spine, those are the most important.

Answer:	Yikes! I had all 3 of my children in a 5 point rear facing until 2, and 5 point front facing latch until 5. A 10 month old is far too tiny for less than 5 point harness for many years, please choose safety not price.

Answer:	It is MUCH simpler to latch and unlatch than a normal harness car seat. Also, it is not absolutely necessary to use the latch system (I believe I read this in the instructions), because the latch system is just there to keep the booster in place when a child is not sitting in it with the seat belt on.
