Answer:	My 6 yr old granddaughter is using it and there is plenty of room. We use it with the shoulder/lap belt combined. I wouldn't use any booster with just the lap belt.

Question:	How does the shoulder belt clip work? It it attached to the seat somehow
Answer:	The red belt clip is adhered to the rear of the Chicco GoFit Booster seat using a web fabric strap. The clip attaches to the vehicle shoulder strap using the open slot in the clip. The instructions demonstrate the proper placement of the clip. The only problem is that the position does not stay constant. Whenever the child reapplies the seat belt, the clip must be readjusted which should be done properly by an adult. I bought this booster because of the shoulder belt clip, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. My seven year old grandson doesn't ride with me frequently so I have some time to work with another way to make the strap stay more firmly in place, perhaps adding an 'S' type buckle. This Graco car seat has the head rest and the way he sits in it he falls asleep every time we get in get in the car if it's longer than a 15 min ride!!! Love the seat; took it to a saftey inspection and was told that it is one of the better seats on the market. We love it!!!! It adjusts to them there is a lever in the back to make them more comfortable and do much safer than the booster seats alone. It has a place to slide the seatbelt in to make sure it is positioned properly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I think the more important factor is your little guy’s head/neck control, rather than his size. My daughter has used this seat from four months on with no problems. In fact, the bigger the baby, the more likely they’ll be able to lock out their legs and scoot the entire seat (which is what my baby has figured out in the last month).

The pad will need to be hand washed with warm sudsy water, rinsed clean and air dried. We cannot suggest using bleach or other harsh cleaners, nor can we suggest dry cleaning. I do want to clarify for you if the padding is washed/dried in the machine and it becomes damaged, this is not covered under warranty as all machines are different. That is why we recommend to hand wash/air dry. This will also be outlined for you in the product manual that comes with the booster in the event that you need to refer to it in the future! Question:	Does this seat fit with 3 car seats across one seat
Answer:	It would really depend on the size car you want to use them in. A compact...I doubt it, mid size...maybe, sedan, or minivan...should be no problem. I think they're about 20" across if you count the width of the arms, not the width across the bottom which is more like 15" or so. We used this one in a jeep grand cherokee along with a full size carseat. There was room for a 12 year old in between but it was tight and not that comfortable for the passenger.

Answer:	Yikes! I had all 3 of my children in a 5 point rear facing until 2, and 5 point front facing latch until 5. A 10 month old is far too tiny for less than 5 point harness for many years, please choose safety not price.
Question:	does the back come off, ie converting it into a "backless" booster
Answer:	Yes it does come off so you can use it as a backless booster. Very easy to switch it too!

Answer:	It is MUCH simpler to latch and unlatch than a normal harness car seat. Also, it is not absolutely necessary to use the latch system (I believe I read this in the instructions), because the latch system is just there to keep the booster in place when a child is not sitting in it with the seat belt on.

Answer:	No. My grandson's head is supported from the side. But I suppose it could fall forward....

Answer:	Because one sits straddling the chair (kind of facing backwards towards the handle) there is the support of the handle to help. On the other hand, you do have to be able to move your legs apart enough to get them around the seat when you get on and when you stand up. I am disabled with back and sciatic problems. I can manage it except on my very worst days. I have a friend who is 87 years old with a pin in her hip and she uses one. I hope this helps.
Question:	what is the base of the seat made out of
Answer:	The seat is about maybe 6" X 8". Thats a guess but the seat part is ok. The chair does exactly as advertised. I took this to Disney Land, Sea world, Universal Studios and the SanDiego Zoo. It made these trips bearable since I have a bad back and have to sit quite often. I wouldn't exceed the weight limits of the chair because I've heard it will break if you do. It holds me very easily and I am at 188. Universal Studios was the only place that asked me about it. I told them it was for walking and they didnt say more. If you need a place to sit due to medical issues I would recommend this. Just be sure to sit in it as you would if you turned a chair backward and sat facing the back.
