Answer:	I'm not the law and I only know this from having lived in the U.S. for the past nearly 20 years; don't know exactly for what purpose you would want to put a child in a booster seat in the front passenger seat. According to the passenger restrictions and requirement of motorized vehicle, where a child needs to be on a restrain and the department of motor vehicle, children under the age of 12 and under 4'11" can't seat in the front passenger seat.

Answer:	I don't think they come off, no. But the good thing is that you can push them in if you don't need them, even one at the time.

Answer:	Yikes! I had all 3 of my children in a 5 point rear facing until 2, and 5 point front facing latch until 5. A 10 month old is far too tiny for less than 5 point harness for many years, please choose safety not price.

Answer:	It is MUCH simpler to latch and unlatch than a normal harness car seat. Also, it is not absolutely necessary to use the latch system (I believe I read this in the instructions), because the latch system is just there to keep the booster in place when a child is not sitting in it with the seat belt on.

This Graco car seat has the head rest and the way he sits in it he falls asleep every time we get in get in the car if it's longer than a 15 min ride!!! Love the seat; took it to a saftey inspection and was told that it is one of the better seats on the market. We love it!!!! It adjusts to them there is a lever in the back to make them more comfortable and do much safer than the booster seats alone. It has a place to slide the seatbelt in to make sure it is positioned properly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Answer:	I'm sorry, are you sure she's 8 and 36 pounds? That would have her off the bottom of the charts for growth. 5% is 45 pounds at that age. If she's that size/age, I think you'll need to assess whether this is a viable seat for her.

Answer:	My 6 yr old granddaughter is using it and there is plenty of room. We use it with the shoulder/lap belt combined. I wouldn't use any booster with just the lap belt.

Question:	How does the shoulder belt clip work? It it attached to the seat somehow
Answer:	The red belt clip is adhered to the rear of the Chicco GoFit Booster seat using a web fabric strap. The clip attaches to the vehicle shoulder strap using the open slot in the clip. The instructions demonstrate the proper placement of the clip. The only problem is that the position does not stay constant. Whenever the child reapplies the seat belt, the clip must be readjusted which should be done properly by an adult. I bought this booster because of the shoulder belt clip, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. My seven year old grandson doesn't ride with me frequently so I have some time to work with another way to make the strap stay more firmly in place, perhaps adding an 'S' type buckle. Answer:	I wouldn’t recommend this for that young. A convertible rear facing seat would be best. LOVED the Chicco NextFit for my kids at that age. It is recommended to keep kids rear facing to at least 2 years old and as long as possible / up to the weight limit of a rear facing car seat (much longer than 27lbs and 16 months).

The vehicle seat belt restrains the child in the booster seat. There is no five point harness in this product. Lower connectors keep the booster seat secure while it is unoccupied.
