Answer:	Hello - it is Andrew from Bambeado here. Thanks for your question, I am sure there are others wondering the same thing. Please be assured that the amber and its associated properties are not damaged in anyway in the making of our Little Bamber. It is true that we need to heat it in the production process but it is well below the point where its core properties are changed. Heating amber is very common, many of the colors you see in amber teething necklaces are produced through applying heat to it. Our amber is not exposed to any where near those temperature levels. Question:	How long does it last
Answer:	It is a little hard to answer that question and different children are going to treat it differently - some more rough than others. Most people find it lasts through the teething process but a sharp set of toothy pegs could potentially damage it. We do recommend disposing of any of our toys if you spot signs of tearing (which is very rare). As a young boy we always packed our car and headed to the beach for weekends each summer. The memory of hunting for amber with my brother and my parents remains so vivid for me even to this day. We’d walk with heads bowed, our feet in the cold, wet sand while we concentrated on finding these small treasures tossed up by the sea.



Baltic Proud grew out of my childhood fascination with finding treasure and the desire to share with You a natural beauty of history in format of beautiful unique amber necklaces.
