Question:	How do you go about changing the battery
Answer:	The batteries are not rechargeable from what I have read. Once the battery dies, you can replace it with the extra battery they supply in the package for you. The battery should last for 200 hours of actual use.
Question:	What disposable probe covers fit this thermometer
Answer:	I don't use probe covers, as I NEVER have used this rectally. I just wipe it down with alcohol after each use.
Question:	I just tried my thermometer while it seems to work, it nevered beeped even after 1 minute. What am I doing incorrectly
Answer:	There is nothing special to do...you turn it on, you stick it in your mouth (under your tongue) and when you hear the beep you take it out. If you have turned it on, can see a readout, put it in your mouth under your tongue and it never beeps I would think you have a defective thermometer as mine beeps just fine.
Question:	Does this work well for a newborn
Answer:	I bought this product because it was my friend's pregnant daughter's baby gift list. He husband is a doctor so I assume they knew about this type of product before putting it on their gift list.

Answer:	That is a good question. This thermometer can be used on any human, regardless of age. We just advise selecting the correct age setting before using the thermometer. Question:	Why is this so expensive compared to the irt and ntf series? features? accuracy? something else
Answer:	If you are referring to the current price shown (S$368.xx) compared to NTF3000 (S$198.xx), that is largely due to the current inflicted pricing. When I bought it in late January 2020, it was in fact cheaper than NTF3000. Prior to COVID-19 pandemic, the price was just marginally higher than NTF3000. BNT400 (aka '3-in-1 No Touch' in USA) has additional feature which is calibrated for different age group. Furthermore, it's sensor is likely to be different than NTF3000 hence it is capable to detect food and bath water temperature rather accurately. From an industrial terminology, what that means is that the thermoscan is capable to switch between different 'Nominal Surface Emissivity' (human body NSE is different from food/water NSE which is 0.93). NTF3000 likelihood does not have the ability to switch between NSE, hence cheaper. Hope this helps.

How to use (for forehead temperature):*

1.Press the "measure button" (power icon) to power on;(Kindly note: the LCD display screen will show "Lo" when open, it's a normal phenomenon, just waiting the temperature light goes off, then you can use it to measure temperature)

2.Then press the "measure button" to scan your forehead, please keep the measuring distance between the forehead and the thermometer within 0.4in, then you can get the readings (accompanied by a long beep);

3.If you need to measure again, please do not operate until the temperature light goes off (accompanied by a short beep), please wait 5-10 seconds for each measurement.

How to avoid the inaccuracy:

Please make sure that there is no dirt on the temperature sensor.

Please make sure that there is no water or any shade on the forehead.

Please clean the ear canal first when you measuring the ear temperature.

It is NORMAL to get the variations between Oral (0.5 to 1.0°F), Forehead (0.3 to 0.5°F) and Ear measurements. This is NOT due to the inaccuracy of the thermometer.
