The built-in fever alarms will notify you when the result reaches a feverish level, and the device automatically powers off when it detects inactivity. The internal memory storage is capable of storing up to 40 readings for convenient temperature monitoring. It also features a four-color screen that visually represents when the temperature is healthy, nearing a fever, or at fever-level. Switching between reading modes is made easier with just a click of a button. The available reading modes are object/room, ear, child forehead, and adult forehead mode. How do I switch between modes?

Press the MODE/Memory button to choose your desired mode.



Does it emit harmful radiation?

No. Our infrared ear thermometer does not emit anything. It only acts as a conductor and measures the radiated heat from the ear.



What temperatures do the display colors correspond to?

Blue - Power On/Standby

Green - 32°C≤ 37.5°C (89.6°F≤ 99.5°F)

Orange - 37.6°C ≤ 38.0°C (99.7°F ≤100.4°F)

Red - 38.1°C ≤ 42.9°C (100.6°F ≤ 109.2°F)

HOW TO TURN ON THE DEVICE

Answer:	This thermometer is a contact free thermometer and should work on babies and adults. However, forehead temps and ear temps vary, so make sure your pediatrician tells you what is the normal range for a 3 month old baby for forehead vs. ear temps.
Question:	How do I measure ambient room temp with this? I don't have the manual anymore

Feel free to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by short pressing the Setting button when it's off.

Fever Detection
