Answer:	I emailed the manufacturer, and this is their answer: We are sorry that you are having trouble deciphering the weight unit increments of this scale. Please note that when the weight unit is set at POUNDS (lb) the weight increments for the ounces will be from .02 to .98 therefore a reading of 9.40 (9.4) will mean a weight result of 9 pounds and 4 ounces whereas a reading of 9.22 will mean a weight result of 9 pounds and 2.2 ounces. Also, when the weight unit is set at OUNCES (oz) the weight increment for the ounces will be from .20 to .80 (3.2 oz to 12.8 oz).

Answer:	Not in answer to that, but if you're only weighing newborn kittens, I suggest a food scale. It's very accurate and I used it on mine till she decided to hulk out and get bigger than my Jack Russell. It would have to be inherently more accurate as dealing with small measurements would need better detail. I just used the regular one I use in the kitchen, but covered it with a wash cloth for grip and sanitation and zeroed out the scale before use. I think mine was a cheapo from Aldi and it was rated up to 11lbs.

Operating the Scale

Answer:	I was using for kittens. You stand sit or otherwise place the object to be weighed on the scale. If the child cannot stand still & steady long enough to get a good weight, sitting is your best option.
Question:	Could you please tell me about maximun capacity (Kg) and sensibility (gr). 25Kg and 5g respectively
Answer:	According to the manual, the scale will weigh up to 60 pounds ( 27 kilos). As for minimum weight, probably 1 pound. It does measure fractions of a pound as well. As for sensibility, it is not going to be fine tuned. If you are looking at anything more accurate that probably 1/10 of a pound, this would not be your scale. It does fine for our kitties which weigh from 11 pounds to 18 pounds.
Question:	How's the accuracy of this scale
Answer:	This scale has been very accurate in my experience. When I first got it, I put two 3 lb weights on there and it weighed exactly 6 pounds. I bought this to keep track of what my baby weighed (born at low birthweight and had trouble keeping weight on early on). My child is now over a year old and every time I go to the doctor, the weight they get is within just a couple of ounces of what I get at home. I would recommend this for it's accuracy and ease of use.

Scale Operation

Answer:	The hold does average. Our baby is 3 mo old, I hold a bright colored toy over his face and he stops moving long enough for weight to hold.

Answer:	NO. It only measures to the hundredths when measuring in kg. When in either lb or oz mode, it only measures to tenths (i.e. 5.7 lbs).

Answer:	This product is manufactured in China. The company Victor Technology is an American company. It is a very reliable company. I have been using their cash registers, and printing calculators since 1976. I have never had any problem with their products.

Answer:	Yes it has an instruction booklet, however I returned it right away. It is very lightweight and it was hard to put the batteries in. It says on amazon that it is for forehead and wrist temps but on the box it clearly says only for forehead.
