Answer:	I use the Babyganics for my 4 year old granddaughter as she likes the bubbles. I did not use it when she was a newborn. It is mild enough but no point as it’s the bubbles that a little one likes. There would be no point in using it for a newborn. There are many soap free wash products on the market for newborns.

Answer:	It states ‘tear free’ but I never use it above the neck. I buy it more for the bubbles because 4 year old likes playing with the bubbles. I use another product when I wash her hair.
Question:	Can this product work as a shampoo without drying out baby/toddler's hair
Answer:	Have never tried as shampoo. However, when bathing her, did scoop up a handful of bubbles and put on top of her head. Rinsed bubbles off. Didn't wash her hair. Just wet it down to remove bubbles. When hair dried, it just stuck to her head. Flat & dull, not pretty, soft, or shiny. So, then had to wash her hair. I think it bubbles, but doesn't lather and clean. Never tried that again without washing her hair afterwards. Based on that, I would not use as shampoo. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Only physical sunscreens leave a whitecast because they contain Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. This is a chemical sunscreen which doesn't contain the ingredients i mentioned before. You should probably google the difference between both types and see which one suits your needs better. I have normal/combination skin but sometimes because of the weather it can get dry, it hydrates my skin very well, I haven't used makeup on top of it yet but it doesn't leave my skin greasy. Answer:	It does leave a white cast when you first put it on, but it then blends pretty well. If there is any cast after blending, it is truly very minor.

Answer:	I started using it on my son when he was 6 months old. Never had any clothes stained and he never experienced eye stinging.
Question:	Why is there a bpa warning on this sunscreen? Does it contain bpa
Answer:	I have done extensive research on sunscreen with lots of trial and error. This is, hands down, the safest and most effective sunscreen on the market (if used properly). It specifically says "BPA free" (along with parabens, etc...) in terms of product ingredients. All plastic tubes will have some chemical (some studies suggest non BPA chemicals can be even more harmful) that will leach especially when heated. This is likely why there is a reminder on the bottle to keep it out of heat or direct sun. You cannot avoid this with any sunscreen. This is a great sunscreen and I trust it on my kids. But, it has to be applied correctly, and often, in the summer - just like any sunscreen. Hope this helps.

UVA & UVB Broad-Spectrum

Consumers have been led to believe that ultra-high SPF numbers like 70 and 100 provide much more protection than SPF 30. This is False. SPF 30 provides 97% protection from UVB and SPF 100 provides 99% coverage for UVB. We tell folks if you look at the back of the tube and you see a bunch of words you don’t recognize, you probably don’t want to put that on your skin. It is important that you’re using a truly Broad-spectrum formula that covers UVA and UVB.

Mineral Based Formula

Chemical sunscreens make up the majority of the market unfortunately. They are both cheap and apply clear. Mineral based solutions can cause some amount of whitening during use and are also more expensive. But at what cost is it cheaper. Some mineral base formulations have also taken to using clear zinc or nano particle sized zinc or titanium. We recommend sourcing a non-nano zinc oxide solution. There is just not enough data on the ability for nano particles getting into the blood stream. As such, it is better to embrace the Precautionary principle.

Water Resistant

There are now three levels of water resistance. Not water resistant, water resistant (40 minutes) and water resistant (80 minutes). We have all become used to seeing words like sweatproof or waterproof. There are now very specific tests. Keep in mind, that if you’re at the beach or pool that you’ll need to reapply after being in the water. And to achieve the SPF factor of your sunscreen you have to reapply every two hours. One application does not keep you at SPF 50 or whatever is on the sunscreen label. And you should be using about 1oz to cover an adult body.

Tips for Application

1. Be sure to apply all areas that will be exposed to sunlight, including behind the ears, neck, hands, feet, and scalp 15 minutes before sun exposure.
2. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours.
3. While the sunscreen applies very easily, we recommend not spreading it too thin. Otherwise you will decrease the effectiveness of the sunscreen.

The majority of sunscreens currently on the market are full of questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. Simply looking at the ingredients you'll quickly realize you don't recognize any of them. Many existing sunscreens have been brought to market with little concern for their safety.
