I generally use desitin to protect from getting a rash it's a barrier protecting the skin. If you can't get to the doctor you can also use lotramin otc. Our doctor has had us do that on the weekends when they couldn't see our baby. Also baking soda bath soaks help as welll. Hope that helps. |

Products like this tend to work more by creating a barrier between the flesh and moisture but since they do nourish the skin I imagine that it would be possible - just not idea. If you are looking to prevent razor burn I would suggest shaving with a product like American Crew shave gel or simply using cocoa butter after a shave. |
