The combination of the very thin layer of zinc under the paste helps it heal up pretty quickly- but you have to wipe most of it off so that the paste can stick[ otherwise it won't stick at all to skin- Anyways- good luck |

| Answer: | contains 20% zinc oxide, parafin, and an ingredient I don't recognize called cetomacrogol 1000. It does not mention nano particles. Warns against using it on large areas of body or serious burns. I use it to prevent diaper rash. has also helped clear up a skin rash of unknown origin. good for poison ivy and poison sumac. Comes out and remains a solid white color. Does not claim to be a sunscreen. |

| Answer: | Yes, but plain zinc oxide will sit very heavy on the skin. Remember the old photos of life guards with the big patch of white on their nose? The white is zinc oxide ointment but it is more a physical sun block than a chemical one. |
