Question:	Is this too big for an already-full living room in a ranch style home
Answer:	Not humps but it doesn’t have a tread. So if you don’t have anything holding it down like furniture it will slide. My large rug I have my couch and chair on so it really doesn’t move my other two rugs move out of there position when walked over there’s no tread to hold it down. Answer:	I too have this rug and it came with horrible creases. For 2 months I’ve had extremely heavy objects on it. This didn’t solve the problem. It also does not lay completely flat...lots of bumps, etc. I have a gorilla brand rug mat underneath for easy vacuuming and cushioning. I’ve read other reviews about steaming and how it will shrink and misshape the rug so I haven’t done that. I spoke with Amazon customer service and they’re replacing it without me having to return the defective item thankfully. This is an Amazon/manufacturer issue...customer shouldn’t have to be inconvenienced.

Answer:	Yes! I have a bullet point with information on this exact topic. Basically with being made of foam, this mat can be punctured with sharp toys or objects, heavy items as it is very lightweight, pets with their their nails all may may poke holes or cause formation issues on foam mat, please be careful with it. I usually just choose toys best I can to place when playing on it for inside play but my 3 year old nephew and his dad have been wrestling on theirs and running all over it and it hasn't had any problems. This mat is to protect baby when falling, crawling etc. when playing be careful with the objects that are near or on the foam mat but its your choice if it doesn't bother you to have holes or rips in it then you don't need to be as careful but since it is made of foam just try and be cautious of the objects used with this mat :)

Answer:	Mine is a 6x9 and it has a jute backing so it definitely is not machine washable, but it is olefin fabric, so it should clean very easily....I sold carpet and managed a carpet department so I am pretty familiar with olefin. I love this rug. It looks even better than expected and I love the coloring. You would have to ask the manufacturer, but I suspect the runner is also a jute backing. Answer:	it is about 1/4 inch maybe a little more, the rug is VERY soft and fluffy. i have not read the care instructions yet but it is soft/pliable enough to put into a large washing machine

Answer:	We have had this mat for two years. When our dog was a bounding and jumping puppy (around the same time we got the mat), he put some holes in it. This may have also been attributed to his very sharp puppy claws. Now as an adult dog, just walking around on the mat doesn't put holes in it.
