Answer:	I do not believe so. If your child is too tall they will still sit safely in the seat or will stand this learning to balance. My daughter is 10 months and loves this seat. She also is in the 80th percentile in height.

Answer:	I purchased this for my daughter right around 1 yr old and she has not been that into it. I do think it is a bit advanced. My 6 yr old likes to play with it. I think your daughter would enjoy it now and for a bit to come. It is rather small, which I prefer. It doesn't take up a lot of room, yet it has a lot of activities.
