Answer:	The package directions and insert says, specifically, this is not a toy for kids that are not balancing/walking on their own; it is for kids that can support themselves. When used as directed it is sturdy but this is not meant to teach a kid to pull up or walk. I put it together and put it up against the wall in his room as he was learning to walk and pull up. I also put the legs to the lowest position which makes the legs sturdier BC they are not at the tallest position with little plastic to overlap the two sections of the legs. I never had any issues with the two top halves staying together. He maybe fell because it wouldnt support him pulling up like the couch did, but never hurt him (I think it fell over with him once). I really don't see this toy causing injuries if it falls over with them. And they fall so much just trying to learn to stand and walk (at least mine did) and are so close to the ground with soft carpet that he never was hurt by this toy or falling. I never got worked up by him falling over, though, as it was part of learning to walk, or this plastic light weight toy falling on him as he had a lot worse when landing on hard toys or running into the chair or falling over and hitting his head on the wall; not this lightweight plastic coming down with him. As he was stable on his feet, per package directions, we moved it and hr would walk all around it (he enjoyed squeezing between this and the wall or table and would go round and round) and had no issues with it ever falling over. This was one of two of the best toys we bought (the either was the jumper that hung in our french doors). I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I found it easier to fill the mat with water by laying the mat out on a very large baking tray and letting the faucet water run into a small funnel that I fitted inside the mat spout. Made things a lot less messy.

Answer:	The water does cool down but if the room is normal temp it won't be uncomfortable. We used ours mostly during the summer so it tended to be cool but during the winter I would probably throw a blanket over it when not in use or put it a little closer to a vent but of course not too close :)
