Question:	what is the difference between the MS-4021 and the MS
Answer:	The are 2 differences: the biggest difference is that the 4021R has a switch to turn the gauge on. It’s a little annoying because you usually have to turn it on for every tire on an automobile when checking the pressure. I guess they put the switch on there for extending battery life. The 4021B does not have the on switch and is activated / turned on when checking air pressure. This is the one I prefer but they did not have in stock when I needed it so I got the 4021R instead. I have owned both. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes and No; yes, this document scanner can scan photo (we do so pretty regularly for less critical photos). However, no, I would not consider this to be a photo scanner. Its max resolution is 600 x 600 dpi. True photo scanners are 5x - 10x that resolution. This is a document scanner primarily. We use a flatbed dedicated photo scanner for anything that is resolution critical.

Question:	Can you remove the clip on chuck and replace it with a dual head chuck
Answer:	Sir I think your asking if you can replace the tire valve chuck. I suppose one can if you unscrew the tire chuck from the fitting and your "dual head" device has matching screw in connection. If not I suppose you could remove the brass clamp on the hose and replace the entire chuck piece as long as your dual device has the appropriate sized nipple and you can crimp clamp it onto the hose.
Question:	Is this a cheap knock off of the jaco flowpro tire inflator gauge? even the product description was copied
Answer:	There’s a JACO shown below this one. In neither case do you have a “Tire Inflator.” It’s a gauge. If you plug this thing into your tire thinking you’re going to inflate it, then you better hope you have a AAA membership, because an hour later you’re going to still have a flat tire. Very misleading product name. Amazon should have made it clear that an air compressor is required.
Question:	does it read pressure while inflating, or do you have to let go of the trigger to read the pressure
Answer:	That's the disadvantage of the digital readout; it isn't continuous reading like my analog dial tire inflator. With the analog one, it's much quicker because the reading returns immediately after releasing the trigger or the bleed valve, so the pressure can be set without the lag time needed for the digital gauge to acquire the reading.
Question:	Do you need an air compressor or does it connect to the gas station pumps
Answer:	This is setup to connect to a 1/4" quick (dis)connect fitting. The QD fittings are what are almost always on the working end of air hoses which have a general purpose. In other words a shop, garage, etc. where different air tools may often be switched out on the hose end. Gas station air hoses really have just one intended purpose; to fill tires with air. Therefore they almost always have a Schrader type inflation tip. So out of the box, no this will not work at a gas station. By adding a bit extra to this, you can use it at gas stations. All you would need to do, is instead of threading in the supplied 1/4" QD male, put in what is called a tank valve. It will have the threading to attach to the inlet port of this tool, and have a Shrader valve (just like tires have) on it's other end. Question:	What warranty comes with this product
Answer:	I ordered this last year, and at the time it did keep the tire pressure until it was reset by clicking the side button. Now, it no longer retains the pressure. I asked a mechanic about it and he said the button was to release pressure on over inflated tires, but I was pretty sure that wasn't the only function for the button. Now, in reviewing the product's features I see that it should be retaining the pressure. Sadly, mine no longer does that. Otherwise, I like the gauge quite a lot.

Useful note:

In order to get a good seal, please put the tire's air nozzle up or off to the side. It's the best when the nozzle is around 6 or 7 o'clock position so that you can firmly press the guage straight down which means you have to crane your head a little bit for reading. Always remember the most important thing for you is to be able to press down straight & hard onto the tire's nozzle.

Answer:	The 2 Pack are 2 that packed together. Not seperately packed.
Question:	What is the battery model/number for this gauge
Answer:	After receiving my two-pack, I opened one to check the batteries because the instructions that came with the gauges failed to identify the batteries and I didn't find the previous answers to this question until after I had checked my gauge. AstroAI indicated that the gauge uses 3 @ AG13 (Silver Oxide) batteries and 1 @ CR2032 (Lithium) battery. I found 3 @ LR44 (Alkaline) batteries and 1 @ CR2032 (Lithium) battery. It's useful to note that the LR44 alkaline battery is cheaper and has a shorter life than the AG33 silver battery. I also don't trust small alkaline batteries in devices such as this where they can leak. When my batteries need to be replaced, I will use the AG13s. Looking at the wiring in the gauge, it is apparent that the single CR2032 powers the pressure transducer while the three LR44 or AG13 batteries power the light.

Answer:	It stays lit for a short period of time, about 10 seconds I would say and then turns off.
Question:	Will this work for bike tires (both shrader and presta valves
Answer:	Its crazy easy to replace the batteries, but you might spend more on batteries than you would buying a new gauge, since you would need three LR44s and one CR2032. Mine lasted only a year before dying.
Question:	Are the batteries replaceable & if so what batteries does it take
Answer:	You only need to change the round 2032 battery. The other small ones are for the LED. Super easy. Ours lasted 3 years
Question:	Can I deflate a tire with the gauge
Answer:	First, let me say that I have not tried to measure ball pressure (I am a Patriots fan, so need I say more?) but you will need more than just a needle to do this. The gauge is designed to work with a self-sealing valve. A needle is an open hole to the outside. What you will need is a a tire valve extender. These have a seal at the valve stem end and threads on the other end to seal to the needle. The pressure gauge can then be applied to the valve stem end of the extender.

Answer:	I went out to the garage and put the clip on the valve of a bike tire. Put reasonable pull off pressure. The clip held.

Answer:	You can check the tire pressures with or without hooking the compressor to the gauge. But you must connect a compressor if you want to fill tires.

Answer:	Any size compressor will work, if it’s a little pancake compressor it will just take longer to fill because there’s no reserve saved up.
