Answer:	I guess you can't be sure unless you find one you can buy local to you, but I bought mine here (fwiw, seller was Tooltopia) Sept 2016 and it says 'Made in USA' right on the C-Clamp. As I understand it, a couple years back OTC sent production of this press overseas and the quality suffered and it's since been brought back to the US since. Last I looked all of the reviews here saying they got one that was not Made in USA are not the most recent.

Answer:	Technically, yes, but not on Amazon. Also, the bigger ones won't work on your outback, because they are too big. I suspect you are using it wrong - I've never found any car it won't work on, even stuff with much larger u-joints than yours.

Question:	ball joint press. will it work on a 2003 chevy silverado 1500 4x
Answer:	it should. i used it on a 2004 f150 lightning and had no problems and it does have the extensions included for all types of 4x4s. hope this helps

Applicable: 163 M-Class front and rear axles. Retaining ring is torque to 300Nm/226ft/lbs W163 (1998-2005) and W164 (2006-present) such as ML320, ML350, ML430, ML500, ML320 Diesel, ML550

• Designed for installing front and rear lower ball joints on Mercedes ML-Series SUV's.
• The old Ball joints are pressed out and the replacement ball joints are secured with a 4-prong nut that requires this socket to install.
• It is 3/4" drive so you may need a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter if using it with a 1/2" impact gun.

Answer:	According to CTA Tools p/n 1082 application it should work. I have used it on an ML350 from 2003. Not the best fitting but does the job. You should strongly consider this tool set instead which includes the pin socket(Qiilu Car Ball Joint Remove Tool Carbon Steel Car Repair Tool Kit Fit for Mercedes-Benz) and a used torque multiplier from eBay to be able to apply the proper torque.
